MCC Girls kicked off their 2025/2026 season with a win - a first for the team and the club. Isobel Yorke took the captaincy and led the girls well. The girls showed their wonderful team spirit and competitiveness and won by 2 runs in the last over.

Was great to see 2 more debut performances too, this time from Iola Cripps and Layla Smith - both of whom played really well, supported by the more experienced players. Well done girls!

Credit goes to Calne as well, for a great match, played in the true spirit of the game. Next match is on 16th November against Bradford on Avon.
