Free taster sessions available, come and give it a try!

On the edge of Savernake Forest, in a beautiful clearing at the top of the hill, lies Marlborough Cricket Club's home. An idyllic spot, perfect for cricket and enjoying stunning views over the Wessex Downs. Hence our nickname – ‘The Trees'.

Where better to learn, practice and enjoy cricket? And we are welcoming new members, especially juniors.

Marlborough Cricket Club is dedicated to promoting cricket and providing a welcoming, and inclusive environment for all. Whether experienced, or completely new to the game, our Club is the perfect place to have fun, hone skills, make lifelong friendships, and enjoy everything the game offers on and off the pitch.

Any cricket club is only as good as its members, volunteers, and players. Many of our first team started out as juniors and as the summer starts to arrive, we are seeking to grow our junior section. The skills, memories, and friendships you make will stay with you for ever.

As part of growing its juniors, the club is seeking to establish our first girls’ team and would be keen to hear from any girls who would like to give cricket a try. All abilities are welcome, and no experience is required.

We are offering free 'taster' sessions throughout the summer for any boys and girls interested to come and try cricket. All equipment is provided, and we offer both soft and hardball versions of the game.

'All Stars' (ages 5-8) and 'Dynamos' (8-11) takes place on Fridays at 6pm over 8 weeks.

Junior training for under 11's', 13's and 15's takes place on Mondays from 6 - 7:30pm. We are also looking to add an additional girls team training night, subject to levels of interest.

'The Trees' are welcoming new shoots. Click here to email us with any queries. There is a pavilion, a fully stocked bar, table tennis table and regular social events. The ground can be found at SN8 3HN.
